Ooh, blogging about blogging. Interesting - thank you for the book suggestions in particular! It's strange that so much has been written about blogging, but with so many people doing it (and getting stuck from time to time), I can see there's definitely a felt need for it! Would like to hear more about your blogging process as you proceed w/ your redesign!

Thank you, thank you for your comment Kate. I would love to hear more from you, and I will be regularly visiting your blog - I think I'm in love with your goats :-) And your photos, and your writing style.

I've been writing a blog about our little farm for a month or so. My loyal readership consists of my mom, two sisters, two college friends and my fiance. I have had one comment from an actual guest, i.e., non-family/friend. I was so excited! So that's the biggest change I'd like to see on my own blog and is probably the hardest to achieve.

In this entry, you did what I frequently forget to do - ask your readers for feedback/input/their experiences. While I'm happy to receive any comments, it's even better to get something more than "great blog" or "I agree" or similar.

Otherwise, blogs I like tend to be humorous and/or easy to read/short. I have a list of sites and blogs I check almost every day. My failing of course, but I don't tend to take a huge amount of time on each site. I just like checking in to see what people are doing and then move on. This will be especially true in the near future as I leave my short-term disability and go back to work.

Cheers!
