DuhBe is angry in Hungary

Things that make you go hmmmm?... Things that make you go Hmmmm….(with a giggle)

I’m not angry.   And I’m not hungry.  But I finally discovered what dühbe means when it shows up in Google alerts.  It’s the Hungarian word for “angry.”  Thus the title of my post: because in Hungary, the word for angry is “duhbe.”

There goes my Hungarian audience.

It reminds me of the business case where Chevrolet couldn’t figure out why the Chevy Nova wasn’t selling in Mexico.  Because “no va” in Spanish means “it won’t go” which is not a good thing for a car.

Ah well, live and learn.  I thought it was funny.

My daughter and I are off to discover some antique and vintage shops today.  No anger there.   But we might get hungry.
